A Korean tv show covering the marriage between a Congelese woman and an Asian man. It's quite a beautiful story and for once there aren't any negative comments by trolls which is what usually happens with AMBW/BWAM videos.

What are your perspective on this subject ?

i saw to my conscious memory three ambf couples in seattle. i know of others throughout the us. people are attracted to the features they're attracted to and nothing can really be done to change it from the outside. i know a lot of black women get handed unfair stereotypes in dating, and i've seen some racist things said about 'people of color' by guys on this site, but ambf happens all the time. there are much worse fates in the dating world.

There is a ladder in society where one race is superior to the bottom race. Therefore , through out history Black race has been abused and manipulated into think they are worthless which is untrue because many countries without the help of Africans since "People of color" originated from there can not stand on their own and succeed as much as they did without help for Africans. Therefore , the stereotype are a way of bringing people of color down in order to degrade their original titles as "Kings" and "queens " not "Hoes" and "Bitiches." So as you notice the media portray "People of color " as thugs or any thing distasteful , but it take determination to find out the truth instead of follow Media sources who has their own authority which determine if they get payed or not . So in conclusion, Do Not believe what the media tells you about "Black Women," cause we do work hard for things which are given to privilege skin-tone for free .

anyone who is smart/a freethinker will know that any stereotypes are not meant to define the actual subject (whether it's race, culture, gender, etc.) , and the ones (in this case asian guys vs. black women) who don't get it are just not worth your time.

there is no single thing i was given as a privilege for being white. i've dealt with this topic of 'white privilege' with other black people and i will reiterate as i did to them, that white privilege is a falsifiable notion constructed from insecurity and disdain for white people by non-white people. there was a time when being white really meant something in the structures of mass society, and back then you would be correct in making this statement. today it is something that could only be enforced on a social level by an individual, as there is no public institution in the united states that systematically gives things to white people that are denied to others.

you may feel that you were dealt an unfair hand in culture for having been born black, and that's a fair feeling as we live in a prejudiced world. but just like white people cannot accurately generalize all black people in a certain light, black people cannot accurately generalize white people as privileged. today black people can live in mansions, hire white people to serve them, go to to the same schools as white people, get the same jobs as white people, and make the same discriminatory kinds of statements against white people that white people make about black people.

Rainbowhearts I did not take this message to heart first of all , I was speaking generally . However , thinking about your statement "you may feel that you were dealt an unfair hand in culture for having been born black," I LOVE BEING BLACK . I do not think any human-been was born in the wrong race . However, I was just stating a fact that history fails to educate Youth/Society about "People of color". Therefore , being treated unfair because of being born black is less of my worries because I am Black And Proud of everything we had gone through and would still go through.

So speaking about "Privilege" is real and it will becoming a touching subject for some however when the truth is out , some seek to hid behind their fed lies. I would give you and example of privilege, one un-colored folk submit a resume with the same credentials as a color folks , looking at it from the business point the employer would most likely choose the un-color folks due to what the media are showing and due to their mentally of the false lies they were fed in school and so on .

Therefore , to end this I did not take your statement personally at all , that why I said Thank you for your reply to let you know I was not mad at your statement .

oh no, i didn't think you took it personally, and i wasn't saying you don't like being black. but i have encoutered a lot of resentment against white people in the black community.

while it's true that a black person with the same credentials as a white person could be turned down by the employer for being black, this is again an example of an individual using unspoken prejudice against them. it is not a system of racism. there are a lot of reasons that an employer may judge someone 'unworthy' of job and choose someone else over them: a white person could be equally discriminated against as a black person if they were elderly vs. young, a woman vs. a man, trans vs. cis, single vs. married, a non-student vs. a student, etc. so it's not as though all of us white people are giggling behind the curtains plotting against the advancement of non-white people. unless you are born into a wealthy family of any race, you are not guaranteed anything in this nation past a free primary education. and 90+% of us aren't, so we are left to compete thinking we are each other's enemies while they take whatever they want. the real people at fault for the hierarchical structure that discriminates against those climbing the ladder are the ones at the top of the hierarchy.
